Licences and source code
Open Old Files is built on open-source work. Thank you to everyone who made it.
The converters
Three WebAssembly converters, compiled with Emscripten 4.0.15 from unmodified upstream releases:
- libwps 0.4.14 (Microsoft Works, Lotus 1-2-3, Quattro Pro, Write, Word for DOS). Mozilla Public License 2.0 (also available under LGPL 2.1+).
- libmwaw 0.3.23 (AppleWorks, ClarisWorks and classic Mac formats). Mozilla Public License 2.0 (also LGPL 2.1+).
- libwpd 0.10.3 and libwpg 0.3.4 (WordPerfect documents and graphics). Mozilla Public License 2.0 (also LGPL 2.1+).
- librevenge 0.0.6 (the document interface they share). Mozilla Public License 2.0 (also LGPL 2.1+).
- zlib 1.3.2 (zlib licence) and Boost 1.86.0 header files (Boost Software License 1.0).
Source code. The exact upstream tarballs are hosted here: libwps-0.4.14.tar.xz, libmwaw-0.3.23.tar.xz, libwpd-0.10.3.tar.xz, libwpg-0.3.4.tar.xz and librevenge-0.0.6.tar.bz2 (the same files as on SourceForge and dev-www.libreoffice.org; checksums are in the build script). Our glue code and the build script that rebuilds the WebAssembly from those tarballs: openoldfiles-engine-source.zip (MPL 2.0). If any link stops working, email [email protected] and we'll send the source.
